P & G Kills Updated 25 July 2000 On July 17, 2000, the first ever-teen organized protest against Procter & Gamble took place in Cincinnati. Members from Love All Animals, EarthSave, Animal Rights Community, The Greater Cincinnati Vegetarian Resource Group, Students for Compassionate Living, and Mercy for Animals attended the protest at P&G's home office in Cincinnati.
People came from all parts of Kentucky and Ohio, including Wilder, Ft, Thomas, Cincinnati, Middletown, Urbana, Frankfort, and Columbus. The protesters passed out over 1,000 pieces of literature to children and adults, including many employees in the downtown area, as well as to many Procter and Gamble employees. Ryan Courtade, the 14 year old president of Love All Animlas, hopes to make a difference "one step at a time."
